Gearing up for an active summer!

Snow is melting!  Flowers in bloom!  Spring is in the air!! 

It’s that time of year for me and Tatum to  set our Spring/Summer fitness goals and start planning our training schedule.  With so many wonderful local events/races to choose from, we’ve decided to begin our search with dog friendly events for Tatum to participate in.  Our favorite resource for seeking out running races, bike rides, fundraising walks, and mountain challenges is www.active.com.

First on the books is the Canine Classic in Boulder, CO, followed by the Barkin’ Dog Duathlon, managed by Racing Underground; www.racingunderground.com.

When we’re not out training on the trails, you’ll most likely find me and Tatum in the kitchen!  Trail Dog Treats is thrilled to donate sample treat bags to charity events such as the Rocky Mtn Lab Rescue 5k, the Taggin’ Waggin’ festival, and the Vail Doggy Dash.  You’ll also find Trail Dog Treats celebrating Earth Day in Colorado Springs, offering all natural goodies to all “green” dogs.

We’ve got our work cut out for us this Spring season, but definitely up for the challenge!
